Whydah Long Tail?

Perhaps not the most creative title I've ever applied to a submission, but I'm having serious artistic issues at the moment, so I digress. I REGRET NOTHING. 

I had the name of this bird filed away somewhere, but like a good college student, I lost it. In the immortal words of one of my professors this last semester, "You lose everything". Including my mind.

Anyway, I hope you guys like this. It was a hard image to get, quality (or complete lack thereof) aside, because these birds proved to be excessively skittish. Adorably clumsy fliers, but skittish all the same. All I really know about them is they are native to Namibia, I believe?

Thanks goes to WillemSvdMerwe for the identification. This is a pintailed whydah (Vidua macroura) and they occur in Namibia and most of sub-Saharan Africa.
